Geri owns the company and is passionate about being in the woods with her team every day. She leads the different sessions offered across all sites and loves watching the growth and enjoyment of all the children and their families

Pippa

Forest School Leader

Pippa has recently acheived her forest school leader qualification and has a wealth of experience working with children. She is passionate about play and the awe and wonder of nature . She currently supports our Friday & Saturday groups alongside Geri

Forest school team

Our stand by team are made up of Forest school leaders and early years practitioners with a passion for outdoor learning who cannot wait to get into the woods when needed and all bring their own range of expertise with them. They all have first aid, safeguarding and food hygiene training and have a DBS suitability check. 
At The Nurture Circle we value all of our team and recognise the experiences and opportunities every individual can bring with them. We want everyone to feel like they can contribute to and enrich The Nurture Circle experience and bring a safe, fun and happy environment for all the families that spend time with us.

All sessions are run by a Forest School Leader (NVQ L3) and any other staff supporting the sessions will either hold a forest school or early childhood/education qualification or be working towards achieving this, ensuring safety and ratios are at the forefront of our sessions, offering a more personal and friendly experience.

We believe that confident and happy team lead to confident and happy children and as such ensure we support the ongoing professional development of our team encouraging them to engage with further qualifications and training opportunities to enhance forest school skills and an understanding of child development.

All of our team have undergone a safe recruitment process with ourselves to ensure they are the right fit for the company and have glowing references alongside enhanced DBS checks to ensure suitability. They receive full inductions into the company including safe forest practises, safeguarding, food hygiene and health & safety training.  All of our team hold a relevant First Aid Certificate with outdoor and paediatric elements.
