Our Play & Stay sessions give parents & children the chance to explore, discover and connect in nature. We offer a wide range of activities and play invitations set out in nature for you to engage in freely alongside your child as well as some more supervised risky play activities with climbing, fire and use of tools as key components. We hope that the experience you have with your children will re-wild your family and get you to remember the freedom you had as a child out in nature and through offering your own child that freedom of discovery, awe and wonder, taking away ideas and life skills you and your child can continue to enjoy for many years to come.

Saturday Morning Nature Club
5 years to 11 years (Reception to Year 6)
Saturday - Oaks Park, Carshalton - Morning Session 10am -12pm
These sessions give your child the opportunity to get out in the elements, reconnect with nature, re-charge and enjoy different nature and risky play activities. They are given autonomy within safe boundaries and can build their understanding of caring for the outside world and learn new skills. It’s a real must for children after a long week in school with little time to expel their energy. Nature Club provides the opportunity for them to just play with other children, following their own agendas, imaginations, and interests and learn new nature, fire and tool skills.

The Nurture Circle Woodland Wednesdays Homeschool Group 4 years to 11 years (Reception to Year 6) Wednesdays - Oaks Park, Carshalton - Morning Session 10am - 12.30pm These sessions gives your family the opportunity to get out in the elements, reconnect with nature, re-charge and enjoy different nature and risky play activities. They are given autonomy within safe boundaries and can build their understanding of caring for the outside world and learn new skills. Each week they can have time in the woodland to explore and play, there will be a new forest school skill to try and we will cook a community lunch over the fire to share. Children will lead the way and plan sessions together according to their interests and motivations for learning. |
All our sessions run in six week blocks, term time only, across the year. If you take a place with us you will be automatically enrolled into the following six week block with a cancellation date if you can no longer attend. We recommend trying to complete a full year of Nature Club fun with us so your child can experience all the seasons nature has to offer as the awe and wonder of each site changes from day to day, week to week and month to month - every session is different and adds value to your child's discovery of self and connection with nature.

National Autistic Society Family Fun Days
2 years to 16 years
Saturday - Oaks Park, Carshalton - Monthly Afternoon 1.30-3.30pm
We are extremely privileged to hold forest fun days sponsored by the National Autistic Society- Sutton Branch - we offer a wide range of forest school activities for children with ASD to come and explore with their families - we have our basket swing and hammocks, Nature ID and scavenger hunts, our mud kitchen & sensory explorer activities, risky play activities and tree climbing and a woodwork station. We end our sessions with a camp fire to come and toast a marshmallow or make a campfire snack. For more information about the sessions and how to book a FREE space please email [email protected]
Forest Fun Birthday Parties
2 years to 12 years
Weekends - Oaks Park, Carshalton - 2 hours
Why not join us for a unique and special birthday party experience out in the woods with different play opportunities, a woodland craft and a fire to toast marshmallows. We can offer traditional forest school experiences or tailor your party around a specific theme. Children have super fun, parents can have a coffee and a chat, and there is a thirty minute window to picnic on our beautiful meadow and eat cake too. Nurseries & Schools Forest School Sessions and Staff Team Build All Ages Week Days - Oaks Park, Carshalton - Half Day / Full Day We can offer sessions to nurseries or schools who would like to offer their children a real forest school experience - our trained team can come to you to deliver weekly sessions to include nature crafts, forest skills & freedom play, tools & fire. But who says the children get to have all the fun - why not book in to visit us on site with your team for a day of woodland team building and the opportunity to learn some new fun and exciting outdoor skills to take back to try with your children! All our sessions are run by a Forest School Leader (NVQ L3) and any additional staff will hold a forest school or education qualification to support their role. All our team hold their DBS, First Aid, safeguarding and food hygiene certification. |
