Bringing Nature club to your family across sutton & surrey
Nature Club is based on the ethos of forest school with a lean towards offering children the freedom to connect with nature and explore the world around them on their own terms. It is here to create awe and wonder in your child’s life through a wide range of nature-based activities and experiences teaching them how to care for and nurture the natural world around them and what nature offers in return.
Children learn by doing – their brains are hard-wired through hands-on interaction with the physical world – and what better way than by being out in nature! Every session run is carefully organised to appeal to all children’s natural urges to play, fostering their own interests and engaging them in their own experimental learning - simply put, they lead the way.
Whilst there is plenty of time to engage in their own play with carefully placed resources and provocations of interest there will also be the opportunity offered in each session to try a new activity or learn a new skill. These offerings will be based on our woodlands and outdoor nature spaces utilising what they have to offer across the seasons and teaching children the real magic of nature.
And speaking of magic…. Did you know that every woodland has it’s own little folks and stories to tell… they tend to pop up around our woodlands with invitations to play, they love children, and children love them and the imagination they inspire!
With over twenty years working with children and families and a huge passion for outdoor play and learning and a strong belief in the powers of child-led play I am so excited to bring The Nurture Circle Nature Club to you and your family and can’t wait for the adventure to begin…
